How to share files online with Quickshares ✦

Move files between a phone, laptop or computer using a browser. You don't need to create an account or install a dedicated file-sharing application. Follow these steps to send files up to a combined total of 50 MB.

📤 1. Open Send Files and choose files

Go to quickshares.online, select Send Files and choose photos, PDFs, documents or other files. You can add multiple files, provided the total size is no more than 50 MB.

🔑 2. Enter a four-digit PIN

Set a four-digit PIN and, if needed, choose the maximum number of downloads. The default limit is two downloads. Select Send to upload your files.

📱 3. Scan the QR code or enter PIN and OTP

After the upload, Quickshares shows a QR code together with your PIN and an OTP. On your receiving phone, laptop or desktop, scan the code if possible, or open quickshares.online, select Receive Files, and type the PIN and OTP to open the file vault.

⏱️ 4. Download before the session expires

Download the files while the transfer is active. Sharing sessions last up to five minutes and can end earlier when the selected download limit is reached.

Transfer files from a phone to a laptop

Start on your Android phone or iPhone, select the files and complete the upload. On your Windows laptop, Mac or another computer, open Quickshares and choose Receive Files. Enter the displayed PIN and OTP to retrieve the transfer. This is useful when you don't want to email attachments to yourself.

Transfer files from a laptop to a phone

On the laptop, select Send Files and finish the upload. Then scan the QR code from your phone's camera, or open Quickshares on your phone and enter the PIN and OTP manually. Download the files before the session expires.

Things to know

Both devices need a working internet connection. Keep your PIN and OTP private, share them only with the intended recipient, and finish downloading before the five-minute timer runs out. The transfer limit is 50 MB in total, not 50 MB per file.

Common questions

Do I need to sign up?

No, Quickshares can send and receive files without an account.

Why can't I open a transfer?

Check the PIN and OTP carefully and confirm the sharing timer hasn't expired or the download limit hasn't been reached. If the session ended, the sender needs to start another transfer.

Can I send multiple files?

Yes. You can choose multiple files, up to 50 MB combined.

Can I use the site on mobile?

Yes. Use a modern browser on your phone. No additional Quickshares app is required.
